Pre-Owned Earth Moon Sun Orrery Model Earth & Discovery Planetarium HOME SCHOOL TOOLS. The 2 solar system models and the Discovery planetarium come as shown in the photos and video. You get everything shown. The Discovery Planetarium only has one disc and requires batteries. The large earth moon sun model is hand cranked and shows how the earth orbits the sun, how the seasons change due the axis of the earth. It also shows the orbit of the moon around the earth. This model is missing an orange ball to represent the Sun. The smaller planet model comes as shown. It was part of something but is great for hand held demonstrations of the solar system or it could be use for your child's diorama for their next school project. We use these items to home school our daughter but she has move on from these teaching tools and we are passing them along to the next star gazer who needs them.
