A really unique find at a recent estate sale. It was quite dirty so we spent some time cleaning it. Unfortunately no marks to help us figure out who might have made it or when it might have been made but we think it might be mid century reproduction from Victorian era.

Interesting and pleasing open wire basket that holds an even more interesting shaped cobalt blue glass bowl.

See photos and note we have included a ruler in photos for dimensions. It stands 6 inches tall to the top of the handle, 5.5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide.

It is not sterling - in fact we have no idea what the metal is but guessing probably silver plate.

The basket could use a deeper polish but it’s come a long way from where it started.

Glass is in perfect shape and does come out. It looks like it was originally held in place on the bottom inside of the bowl but it’s easy to take in and out and we personally like it as it is. Plus it will make it safer to ship in two pieces rather than one.

Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer.
