Description
Let me state this photograph is not a "Yard Long" but 18 inches in length by 10 inches in height. But for us fellow Yard Long photo collectors... this one had to get your attention! The photograph by Capitol Photo Services shows the JACKSON FIREWORKS FACTORY in Washington D.C. with workers holding their bottle rockets in the year 1939.
The photogtraph is mounted on cardboard, and at one time, was in a yard long frame with an extended mat. That being stated the glass broke and the frame was damaged years ago and discarded. But thank God this killer photograph survived. I don't know about you but there's plenty of fireworks in D.C. without physically producing them today.
This original TYPE 1 photograph is just pure Americana and a treasure.
* PLEASE NOTE: White spot at top of photo is glare from the sun and not on the actual image.
