Description

This is a fine original cabinet- styled photograph of a Spanish American war period military encampment in Vancouver,Washington. The carefully notated inscription on the verso is of E.J. Rederick. On research Mr. Rederick is found on several footnotes. In the Omaha Druggist newsletter Mr. Rederick is noted in the following article:  Mr. E. J. Rederick, Vancouver, Wash., who has been clerking for J. C. Wyatt for a number of years, has just opened up a new store of his own.

It is obvious giving the trees that this photograph was taken where E.J.Rederick lived in Vancouver, Washington. Perhaps near the present day Vancouver Barracks National Cemetery?

In any case it is a fine historical photograph with excellent tonality.
