A rare antique photograph showing the IOOF (Odd Fellows) Children’s Orphan Home in Garnett,Kansas. This albumen photograph is an unusual size and measures 3 ½ x 10 inches. The image appears to have taken from the top of a traveling photographer’s wagon. A guard tower on the right side gives this place an ominous appearance. This rare image came out of a retired Kansas judge’s home about 35 years ago.
