Alfred Osgood Blaisdell born March 13th of 1833 and died in 1919 was the son of Daniel and Charlotte Osgood Blasidell and was the father of Ralph Blaisdell (1864-1949) Charlotte was the sister of famed watchmaker John Osgood of Haverhill, New Hampshire.
These keys have a metal identification engraved tag that state: Alfred O. Blaisdell 49 Point Street Providence, Rhode Island. Presently a renovated old factory stands there with business offices.
These keys and others that I will be listing were found in the abandoned house of Ralph and Lillian Blaisdell (1861-1947) here in St. Augustine, Florida.
If you are a Blaisdell family member these keys are historically significant towards your family’s history. The Blaisdell family has a storied and dynamic history starting with the Ralph Blaisdell ( 1607- 1649) one of the earliest founders of Boston,Ma.
Interesting enough Ralph Blaisdell (1861-1949) died exactly 300 years in St. Augustine, Florida from the original Ralph Blaisdell.
