Probate Court document dated 14th of December of 1818 for David Shippee who was legally appointed by the court of East Greenwich of Kent County,Rhode Island to become the legal guardian of Thomas Shippee.

Randall Shippee was born 1773 or 1774 in East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, and died 3 May 1868. 3. Welthan Shippee was born 1 Oct 1776 in East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, and died 25 Dec 1866 in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island. 4. Spencer Shippee was born 1778 or 1779 in Rhode Island, and died 25 Dec 1857 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island. 5. Rufus Shippee was born abt 1781 in of East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, and died bef 18 Dec 1843. 6. Freeborn Shippee was born 1783 or 1784 in Rhode Island, and died aft 1850 in of Augusta, Oneida, New York. 7. David Shippee was born abt 1786 in of East Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island.
