James Boak, believed to be from a Scottish or North Irish I'.oak Family,
was born in York in 1772. He married Achsah Faulkner about
1798. They first lived at Keisertown, moving to Circleville in 1804 and
finally settling in Scotchtown in 1836. James Boak died in 1842? And his
wife died in 1860. They had nine children. 
Robert Boak was born in 1806.
