Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Name written near bottom-right on front. Tiny surface abrasions on front; slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots on back. Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is mostly easy-to-read with mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

The album was named for the Caribou Ranch recording studio, where part of the album was recorded. In the US the album was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA. In addition to the obvious hit singles, over the years, John has played several other songs from this album in concert, including Grimsby, You're So Static, Ticking, and Dixie Lily.
