Great for holding a multitude of items

Vintage brass box with softly rounded corners appears to be seamless with the exception

of polished tack welds inside at each corner

On the inside of the interior at the top rim, there is a reinforcing strip to help hold the shape

(original to box, not a repair)

 

There is formed hinge on the back in good condition with brass hinge pin

Lid holds up as it should without tipping back

Clean interior

 

For those that prefer, I have left the original patina

For others you may want to polish

I do not see any open pitting but since its not polished there may be a thin spot or two

No dents, dings or visible damage
