Goldenrod or Solidago Canadensis is a dramatic low-maintenance perennial.  It’s a late fall bloomer that's drought tolerant, and deer and rabbit resistant and is a North American Native flower.

Once established this variety likes to grow into a clump of 10-20 stems that can reach 3 to 5 feet high.  Prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Stems remain upright and sway gracefully. This is a North America native plant and requires no maintenance, watering or fertilizer.  Easy to germinate from seed and grow, does not require cold stratification and germinates 4-14 days.  Mature plants can be divided every 3-5 years or it will self-seed, however plants are not invasive and can easily be pruned back or removed.   Flowers have a nice scent similar to faint pine or anise.

Goldenrod is great for attracting pollinators.  Goldenrod is also used in traditional natural medicines and teas for treating a variety of health concerns such as inflation or wounds.

Sale is for 200+ Goldenrod seeds, harvested for 2024 gardening season.  These seeds are very small like dust, so this is approx 1/16th of  teaspoon, enough to start many plants.  Seeds have been cleaned to remove floss and debris, so it's just seeds.  Best way to ensure success, start seeds 4-6 weeks indoors before last frost to get plants established around 2 inches tall before planting outdoors.  Transplant outdoors without disturbing roots.
