What is PRESTIGE  COLOR OFF?

COLOR OFF Gives you the freedom to change your color and to be with the color you want. Restore the natural hair‘s color. The formula has a special buffer that detoxifies your hair and removes the old pigments, keeping the structure of the hair.

 

Why COLOR OFF?

The advantages over the traditional oxidation products are :

- the entire color of the dyed hair can be completely removed;

- does not damage the hair;

- can be used several times a day or for a short period of time

 

HOW DOES COLOR OFF WORK?

In oxidation color dyes, the color is formed by a number of small molecules that bind to each other under the action of the oxidant and form giant color molecules that form the final color. This reaction, called oxidation, occurs inside the hair, and when it is finished, the colored molecules become too large and trapped between the keratin tiles of the hair. That is why, these types of dyes are called permanent. This bleaching product is completely different as an action and as a result, from the traditionally used products - bleaches, lightening emulsions, gels and oil. The products above have an oxidizing effect and oxidize the dyes and destroy them, thus removing the color. Unfortunately, these type of products at the same time oxidizes and damages the hair to a different degrees, irritates the scalp, and the removal of the color is not always full. COLOR OFF is different from these products. It has no oxidizing effect. It is with reductive action and contains activated reducing molecules. They destroying the large colored molecules to smaller ones, as a result they are no longer retained between the keratin tiles and can be washed away.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT ABOUT COLOR OFF?

As a result of the oxidants in coloring or lighting the hair, after removing the COLOR OFF pigments, your color will be lighter than your natural color, you may also have copper or red shades .

 

How to use :

·     Before starting the procedure, you can get the necessary accessories for dyeing - a comb, a bowl, a protective cape, as well as a watch and a towel .

·     Do a test for allergic reactions as indicated in the leaflet .

·     Follow the instructions for use strictly .

·     For long hair, 2 packs of decolor may be needed .

·     After the procedure, you can apply a mask suitable for your hair type .

·     After 40 minutes of the entire procedure, you can dye your hair again in the desired color .

 

Important :

As a result of oxidizing agents when coloring or lightening hair, after removing pigments with "Color Off" your color will be lighter than your natural color, it is also possible to have copper or red undertones .

If the hair color completely or partially returns, then this indicates incomplete removal of the dye from the hair and you should repeat the bleaching procedure . This is possible with dark brown or black colors .

 Preliminary Preparation

I. Before commencing the process, conduct a skin sensitivity test:

Apply a small amount of the mixture (reducer and activator in a 1:1 ratio) to a 1 sq. cm section of cleansed skin, using alcohol, behind the ear or on the bend of the elbow. Wait 1-2 minutes and thoroughly cleanse with a napkin. If there are no signs of an allergic reaction within 48 hours, you may proceed to use the product.

II. Preparation for Decolorization

For successful product application, gather the following items:

  1. Package contents
  2. Comb
  3. Paintbrush
  4. Clock
  5. Protective cape
  6. Towel
  7. Hair mask
  8. Plastic container

Mixing

Carefully review the instructions and safety measures provided. Prior to bleaching, wash your hair with an appropriate shampoo and dry it with a towel. Shield your shoulders with a cape to prevent staining of clothes. Prepare a watch to monitor treatment time and don protective gloves. Thoroughly shake the vials before use. In a non-metallic container, combine the required amount of REDUCER 1 and REDUCER 2 in a 1:1 ratio. Mix thoroughly for about a minute and use the mixture promptly. After dispensing the necessary amount, securely close the vials without changing the caps. Conduct the procedure in a well-ventilated area.

Application

Utilize a comb and brush to evenly distribute the mixture along the entire length of the hair or the designated areas for discoloration. Apply the mixture immediately, as its activity cannot be preserved for more than 30 minutes.

Time for Impact

Allow the mixture to affect the hair for 30 minutes. CAUTION: Do not exceed the recommended exposure time.

Rinsing

After the allotted exposure time, rinse the hair with water—5 minutes for short hair and 10 minutes for long hair. Apply the Conditioning Buffer, allowing it to work for 1-2 minutes, and then thoroughly rinse with plenty of water for 5 minutes.

Check the Result

If the hair color partially or completely reverts, it indicates incomplete removal of the dye, requiring the bleaching procedure to be repeated. This occurs due to residual dyes on the hair, which self-oxidize over time and regain color. This effect is more common with dark brown and black colors. However, rest assured that the process is harmless to the hair and does not alter its structure.

Additional Care

Apply a suitable hair mask for your hair type, rinse, and dry. After 40 minutes from the end of the aforementioned procedure, you can dye your hair again.

Tip: When dyeing hair after bleaching, it is advisable to use a shade one or two tones higher than the chosen color or opt for an oxidizer with a higher percentage of hydrogen peroxide (e.g., 6% instead of 3%, 9% instead of 6%, etc.) required for coloring in the desired shade. For longer hair, two packages of the product may be needed.
