Item description for Vintage Christmas Card Howling Dog Snow Cottage Anthropomrophic Moon 1940

Wonderful vintage Christmas card! Great to frame, perfect for scrapbooking, fun to collect. A vintage card makes a unique, thoughtful gift (especially tucked into a greeting card with a personal note).

Front of Card: Vintage Christmas card. Very cute card with a little howling dog (in a red bow!) and an anthropomorphic moon and snow covered cottage in the background. "Holiday Greetings!" Die-cut with "O-O-O-O-O-O-O" from inside.

Inside Card: Picture of the moon looking at the dog who is by his doghouse. "And just O-O-O-O-O-Odles of happiness for the New Year." If you unfold the card further you find a message written from sender to recipient inside. It is dated 1940 and they appear to be wartime sweethearts separated by World War II.

Back of Card: Made in USA

Approximate Height of Card: Almost 5"

Condition: Bend bottom corner of card, as seen in pictures. Message from sender seen as you unfold the card completely. No envelope.
