Front of Card: Vintage birthday card. A boy and girl are playing with a toy sailboat. The boy wears knickers and the girl wears a little sailor suit outfit. "Happy Birthday 9 Year Old."

Inside Card: Picture of a sailboat. Signed by senders. Verse:

"This gay little boat
Is sailing to you
With a cargo
Of happy wishes, too
For lots of fun
And lots of laughter
On your NINTH Birthday
And ever after!"

Back of Card: Marchant. Note written by sender.

Vintage: 1940's

Approximate Height of Card: 5.5"

Condition: A little corner wear. Signed inside by sender; letter written on back of card by sender. As you open the card you will see the right edge has tanned with age. Small peel mark back of card at top, as if it was removed from a scrapbook long ago. No envelope.
