Hermit crabs enjoy worm castings because they contain beneficial microbes and high-quality minerals like calcium and magnesium. You can add worm castings to a hermit crab's tank by sprinkling them around, putting them in a supplement dish, or adding them to a regular dish. 

1-2 tablespoons for use in house plants can feed them for up to 6 months! You can also sprinkle these in your garden.
