Survivors from a by-gone era, one of several series of book and record combinations that came into its own before the Cold War ended. One of the line drawings in Red has been colored by a youngster, no others. The books are tight, the records are not visibly marred in any way. Edge wear and wrinkling.
This sort of thing kind of started with the kid's TV shows of the late 50's: Captain Kangaroo, Romper Room and so forth, where a favorite book was read aloud and the camera panned over the pictures, like a Ken Burns documentary.
