Very good antiquarian condition with toning to the text block. Undated, early mid-century by the style, song books from the estate of an itinerant pastor in North East Ohio--early in his career from the address placed on both books.

We found nothing on the Ruffs in a brief internet search. There were, generally speaking, two types of itinerant gospel singing groups: those like the Humbards, who were the entire package; and those who would travel for a time with one or another revivalist. I gather this pair was of the latter as they left little behind them.
