The "Desert Rats" are long gone from North Africa, but who says that combat shorts with knee high socks has to be a relic of history?

This is a pair of genuine British Military issue cargo shorts in the desert DPM camouflage pattern in a size small (please see the measurements below). They are in used, very good condition. There are no holes or tears.
They feature two standard cargo pockets, front slash pockets and a single rear pocket. The waist is adjustable via side tabs and an internal drawstring.
When I first saw these I thought they had to be a professionally altered pair of cutoff pants or some sort of civilian aftermarket item. Nope. The tag clearly marks them as shorts and a genuine issue article. I have no idea under what circumstances U.K. servicemen wore uniform shorts in the 1990's.
