This is an M-2 compass carrying case. It is in used, excellent condition. This listing is for the case ONLY. I do not have a compass to go with it.



The U.S. Military's M-2 compass is commonly known as the "engineering compass" or the "artillery compass". It is a lensatic compass, but unlike the standard dismounted compass the M-2 is marked in "MILS", which makes them much more precise. These compasses don't fit in the standard dismounted compass pouch and require their own special purpose plastic case, such as this one. These hard cases are very useful for storing small items, such as fishing line and hooks, earplugs or spare batteries. They are also perfectly sized for a can of dip.
