Antique Chinese etched, enamled/cloisonne brass/wood, trinket or jewelry box c. 1850-1899. The box is in very good condition for its age. The medallions may depict various zodiac signs but I am unsure. The top of the box is tooled with a design of a bat and etched floral on the back. The interior wood liner remains. The box hinges opens and closes without trouble. Stamped China on the bottom.
