1976 Fisher-Price Play Family Village Little People Set #997.  Set is NOT complete & is missing the small round BBQ style grill, 2 yellow Captain's chairs & a passenger car, but you will receive everything else that is shown.  Structure is a 2-halved gray plastic base that connects with a removable gray plastic footbridge.  There is a small red hook by the garage roof to help keep the closed unit together will transporting by the white carrying handle.  The bottom level on the red half of the village contains a Fire Station with a white roll-up door that lifts up & down and there is a red crank on the roof that sounds the siren.  Next is the Post Office in the middle & then the Theatre.  The Theatre has a built in molded stage & seating for 4.  There is a mailbox built in to the front of the Post Office & a streetlight on a spring pole on the sidewalk.  The corner beside the Theater has a flexible white vertical rubber strip to attach the bridge.  The upper level has Dentist Office & an open-air restaurant.  
The bottom level on the yellow half of the village contains a Police Station with a jail cell, molded-in jail bunk & a yellow knob on the roof that works the movable jail door below.  Next is the Barber Shop in the middle & then the Garage.  The garage has a red roll-up door that lifts up & down and there is a red crank on the outside that moves the car lift up & down.  Gas pump & fire hydrant in the front on the sidewalk.  The corner beside the Jail has a flexible white vertical rubber strip to attach the bridge.  The upper level has an apartment above the Barber Shop.
The gray bridge connector that connects the 2 sides of the village halves together has simulated rock sides, a flat top with a walkway bridge, a large tunnel under the bridge, & a green traffic light that hangs down from the middle of the tunnel.  The light can be rotated via a red knob to change the traffic signal colors.  
Original lithographs are on the exterior of the building as well as in all of the rooms & they are in great condition, free from stains & major damage.  Please see photos.

**The flexible white vertical rubber strip to attach the bridge next to the Theatre has split at the top, but it still can hold the bridge in place.

1 White plastic barber chair with a high backrest & a footrest.  The chair swivels on a round pedestal base.  Measures approx 2" tall
1 White plastic dentist chair with a high backrest & a footrest.  The chair swivels on a round pedestal base & has an attached round spit bowl on one side.  Measures approx 2" tall
1 White top, green base 2-seat car (front to back) with fins.  Gas hole in the back corner & is marked "FP Fisher Price Toys" on the hood.  Car rolls on 4 black wheels with metal axles & the wheels are marked "Fisher Price Toys".  Measures approx 3 1/4" x 2 1/8"

1 White top, blue base single-seat Mail truck.  Gas hole next to the driver seat & is marked "Mail" in red on both sides of the truck.  Back of truck is open, but is covered with a roof.  Truck rolls on 4 black wheels with metal axles & the wheels are marked "Fisher Price Toys".

1 Red top, white base 2-seat fire truck (driver seat & red peg on the back of truck).  Gas hole in the back corner & has a yellow ladder base in the center.  Ladder base swivels & holds the 2-piece ladder extension.  Truck rolls on 4 black wheels with metal axles & the wheels are marked "Fisher Price Toys".  Measures approx 5" x 2 1/8" (when ladder is extended truck measures approx 6 1/2" long).
1 White rectangular upright phone booth with a red curved door that can be moved from side-to-side.  The inside of the phone booth has a red paper lithograph with a picture of a phone, phone book, etc.  Measures approx 3" x 2" x 2"
6 White pieces of mail, 1 for each business in the village.  Each letter fits through the slots in the doors of the village.  The address is heat-stamped in black & the stamps in the corners are all in different colors.  Measures approx 1 7/8" x 1 1/8"
1 Gray bodied mailman, smiling wearing a gray mailman hat - wood body, plastic face.  Stands approx 1 3/4" tall
1 Blue bodied Policewoman, smiling with blonde bob under a blue cap.  Cap has a blue badge above the bill - wood body, plastic face.  Stands approx 1 7/8" tall
