Antique Handled 19th Century Brass Mortar & Pestle. Apothecary, Druggist, Muddling Herbs. Mortar is large, measures approximately 5.5” top diameter, 5” tall and 3.5” bottom diameter. Heavy. Combined the Mortar and Pestle weighs 5lbs 12oz. Stamped 5 and 7 on the bottom. The Pestle is heavy brass and measures approximately 9.25” long. Stamped 7. Both items show age and use.
