This is a poignant ex voto imported from Mexico City where it was made by the master retablero, Daniel Vilchis. It has been hand painted on tin as is traditional and features the image of a surgeon performing open heart surgery on a patient. There is an image of the Virgin above and the writing thanks her for saving his life. This work is signed by Daniel and measures approximately 10” in height by 6” in width .
