Fun estate sale find in this sweet vintage Fisher-Price Play Family Farm Barn  #937 from 1967 with 2 fence pieces. It features a red barn with the iconic "mooing" barn door, this Fisher Price #937 Play Family Farm was the first "Play and Carry" FP toy, that had a handle on top and could hold all of the figures and accessories safely while on the go. Colorful graphics surround the barn with 2 front doors that open and two small loft doors that slide open on top too. The doors have a latch on the front to hold them shut, one side makes a "moo" noise when the door is opened. The inside stickers show a barn scene and a little cat climbing on a milk jug with mice scurrying around too. The loft has hay graphic that's fun too! The barn shows the usual play and shelf wear, as shown in the photos.

This listing is for the barn and 2 fence pieces only, there are no Little People, animals or tractor included, but are easy to find in the wild. Such a wonderful slice of nostalgia in this treasure and ready to spark imaginations for the next generation!

Fisher-Price Toys was founded in 1934 by Herman Fisher, Irving Price, Margaret Evans Price, and Helen Schelle. Margaret Evans Price was Irving's wife and was an illustrator and artist of children's books. Many early toys were based on characters from her books. The toys encouraged learning and often had moving parts. One of the most popular lines by Fisher-Price is the Little People toys. The Little People were originally called the Play Family. The Little People line included people and animal figures with simple designs that were easy for young children to hold. There were many play sets for the Little People, such as the Play Family A-Frame, Airport, Camper, Children's Hospital, Farm, Fire Station, Garage, House, Sesame Street Clubhouse, School House, and many more. Almost anything that could be done in real life could be done in imaginative play with the Fisher-Price Little People. Fisher-Price toys have always been known for their high quality and durability. Early toys were made of wood and metal, and later toys were made of hard, sturdy plastic. For this reason, vintage Fisher-Price toys have become quite collectible and last long enough to be passed down to the next generation of children. Many classic Fisher-Price toys have been reissued due to their popularity and are still sold today.

Barn is in excellent working condition! The usual pre-loved surface scuff wear and spots to graphic here and there and a break on the corners of composite base on left side from adding glam to Betty's playroom, but nothing that distracts from this swell treasure of play history!
