Vintage 1968 Presidential Candidate, Richard Nixon Facsimile Signed Thank You Note with Envelope. Note measures approx 5 1/8" x 3 5/8" & has autopen signature "Dick Nixon". Piece looks to have been hand cut out of a larger piece, but is a thank you for campaign support. Paper is in ok condition, but does have a couple of small smudges & may have slight discoloration from age. Original envelope measures approx 4" x 7 1/2" & has been postmarked 29 Oct 1968 & is in good condition. Envelope has a address window which also leads me to believe the note was cut away from a larger piece. Envelope was opened at the top while flap is still sealed. Envelope does show glue stains at the seams & may have some discoloration from age/storage. Please see photos.
