MEITO GARLAND VEGETABLE BOWL

This beautiful porcelain oval vegetable bowl was made by Meito.  The pattern name is Garland.  It features delicate hand painted pink roses on a white and cream background.  It was made in Japan during the 1950s.  It measures approximately 11 1/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches, and stands approximately 2 1/2 inches tall.  There is some wear  and a bit of missing paint to the gold trim, and there is minor wear to the design the bowl, but nothing that would distract from its beauty. It would display well with other vintage porcelain bowls from the same time period.
