A rare find! This Jennings Bros brass color metal (it is not reactive to a magnet) footed hinged box has raised detailing of women on the lid, most likely servants & mistresses. The amazing frieze like detailing give this box a rich look. The inside is lined, box & lid in a velvety brown, no rips, no stains. 
Measures: 6.5 x 4.25 x 2.25 inches, weighs 1lb 13oz.
Condition: In good pre-owned condition, no dents, has patina in crevices.
