This beautiful floral illustration is, Orange Lily by English artist Thomas Curtis.  As well as being a talented botanical artist, he ran Curtis’s Botanical Magazine following the death of his father who launched this publication in 1787.

It was the longest running botanical publication in history.  And today continues to be published by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in England, who took it over.  It's published three times a year as the Kew Magazine.
