An Arts and Crafts pendant light, hand made around 1890 by the John L. Gaumer Company in Philadelphia. Believe the light was gas BITD but was converted to electric at some point. Has nice floral detailing and a wrought iron lattice frame. The ceiling downrod features a spiral wiring detail and corrugated ceiling canopy with brass ring. Includes mounting hardware.

The lantern has been rewired and is ready to hang. Socket has a rotary switch.

The finish is consistent with age, some rubbing, some finish loss, a few minor spots of rust, and the top plate is missing one of its round knobs. Overall finish condition looks quite good.

This is a large and stunning lantern.
The lantern weighs 5 pounds 12 ounces.

Drop height about 23"
Lantern height is about 14 inches
Lantern diameter is about 12.5 inches
Canopy is 5.5 inches in diameter
