You are bidding on two volumes in The Works of Washington Irving (in Twelve Volumes). Both books are hardcover and measure approximately 7.5 inches x 5.5 inches. According to the title page on each book, they were published in 1882 by G.P. Putnam's Sons. The are both in good condition, and the details are listed for each volume below. You will receive the following:
Volume X (10) : Life of (George) Washington Volumes 1 and 2 -- there is a small nick / tear at the bottom of the spine. The covers have some wear / rubbing. There is some light staining on the top edge. There are a couple of smaller spots on the edges as well. There are a small number of pages that have tiny nicks on the edges and have some creasing in the same areas. Some of the pages have some light smudging.
Volume XII (12) : Life of (George) Washington Volume 5 & Wolfert's Roost and Other Papers -- There is a small tear on the title page near the bottom of the binding (see picture). The covers have some wear / rubbing. There is some light staining on the top edge. There are a couple of smaller spots on the edges as well. Some of the pages have some light smudging.
