Small Circle Jujitsu 5 DVD Set by Wally Jay

In this complete series, Professor Wally Jay teaches his unique Small-Circle Jujitsu Self Defense method covering warm-ups, falling and resuscitation; details on weaknesses of the human body; locking techniques for wrists, fingers, arms, and legs; throwing and choking techniques; and self-defense against strikes, chokes, body grabs, wrist grabs, etc. Professor Wally Jay studied Kodenkan Jujitsu from Professor Henry S. Okazaki in Hawaii. After years of training in boxing, weightlifting, judo and jujitsu from various instructors, he received his black belt in Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Jujitsu from Sensei Okazaki. The knowledge he gained from the other disciplines and Sensei Okazaki’s own non-classical background gave him the perspective to see how classical jujitsu could be improved for a more effective use in self-defense and combat situations. Over the years Professor Wally made changes in the Jujitsu art he learnt, and it was the principle of the “wrist action” that became the key to Small Circle Jujitsu method. His system of Small Circle Jujitsu, based on more than 60 years of training and teaching experience, works on the premise summarized in Professor Jay’s own words: “It is not how much you can hurt a person in an altercation, but how little you can hurt a person and still control him!” VOLUME 1 presents explanations and demonstrations of finger, wrist and joint locking. Professor Wally Jay gives and overview of his unique Ju Jitsu system, including a discussion of how techniques are executed on the smallest body-point possible via direction of force. VOLUME 2 presents in-depth discussion and demonstration of advanced arm, wrist, finger and leg locks. VOLUME 3 covers falling, effective throws, advanced chokes and resuscitation techniques and basic principles. VOLUME 4 includes the principles of learning the tendon triceps and its importance in the application of armbars and armlocks. Learn how to inflict the most pain with the least effort. The “tendon triceps” application revolutionized the world of locking techniques to make all types of armbars more practical and more effective in any self-defense situation. VOLUME 5 includes the principles of learning highly effective finger locking techniques for self-defense application. Finger locking techniques can cause a tremendous amount of pain without causing injury to the assailant, making it practical pain-compliance method for both civilians and law-enforcement personnel.
