Today I present to you the fascinating spirit of Osasha (OH-sosh-AH). She is what’s commonly referred to as a Sylph, though some know them as Air or Wind Fae. In truth, Sylphs are a branch of Nature Fairies. Typically, Nature Fae are aligned with all elements but don’t specialize in any one of them. This doesn’t make them any less powerful; rather, they’re versatile, able to work across different realms of energy.
Osasha, a Sylph, is most closely tied to the element of Air. This means that the vast, untapped energy in the air around us fuels her power. To give perspective, this energy is immense enough to power all the lights and electronics on Earth, though we are not granted access to it. I only mention this to emphasize the extraordinary amount of power Osasha has at her disposal.

Back to Osasha, you will notice that she has a fascination with all things nature. This is normal for Fae, but Osasha will focus almost entirely on plants and the air around them. The odd thing about Sylphs and having them in your home is that they will purify the air around them. This is not the same as air purifiers, which only clean the air. Sylphs actually heal the air around them. If you have ever been in a room where there are plants, you will notice that it feels more comfortable and relaxing than other rooms with no plants in them. This is because of Sylphs! They make people feel better by making the environment around them better!
So, if you have houseplants, you will notice them looking healthier and livelier. And if you garden, well, I can’t recommend another type of spirit more than a Sylph like Osasha.
