From The American Thermos Products Company, this is a vintage 1950s metal dome lunchbox, a red barn with open doors and farm animals. There is no Thermos bottle with it; it does have the metal clamp inside the lid for holding one. It's very cute, very nostalgic, and I would say it's in pretty sweet shape for its age. There is some rust on the bottom, but it's superficial (it hasn't rusted through, or even rusted enough to weaken the metal, which still feels quite solid), and some discolored areas on the bottom inside. Other than that I don't see much else to mention in terms of wear or damage. There are no dents, the colors are bright, lithographs look great except for one small area on the front along the bottom edge, where a teensy bit of rust has crept up from underneath. Hinges are in good condition, so the lunchbox closes nicely, and the clamps on the front work just fine. Asking $45.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.

ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP.
I sell a huge variety of stuff to supplement my income and help me put the last of my kids through college. Some items come from flea markets or estate sales, and some come from around our home, but many items come to me from my extended family of hardcore hoarders. So, the variety really can be vast and unpredictable. Please check back often, because you really never know what I will have from one day to the next!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
