This painting titled, Vase with Poppies, was created by Dutch artist, Vincent van Gogh in 1886.
He was regarded as one of the greatest post-impressionist painters after Rembrandt, yet he was unknown until after his death. His artwork later changed hands for 000s in art auction houses around the world.
Vincent van Gogh was born March 1853 in Netherlands, and died in July 1890 in France.
