A genuine vintage item
Year: 1929
Art Deco Style Microbead Clutch The zipper is marked "Talon" with an art deco design on it. The interior has a pocket that holds a small square mirror which is included. It has a small handle on the back, to slip your hand through, for holding the clutch in style! There is a note that was found inside, stating it was a graduation gift from 1929. There is also a letter written in 1998 by the owner to her granddaughters, telling the story about the clutch. Pretty cool to know it's history. The original owner lived in Ohio. As a young woman, she worked at a resort by Lake Erie in a small village, Geneva-on-the-Lake, when a suitor named, Paul, gave it to her as a graduation gift. I will include the letter in case you find it interesting.
Color: Antique White
Measures: 7" Long x 4" Tall
Condition: Pretty good considering its almost 100 years old! The interior is intact but slightly soiled above the zipper. It looks like there is a space between a line of beads on the handle or it was made this way. Its hard to tell by looking at it. The mirror is clear with just a few age speckles. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
