Here is a pair of tall candlestick bottles in Avon's Cape Cod Collection. Originally these candlesticks held either Bird of Paradise, Charisma, or Patchwork Cologne. These perfume bottles are both empty, the perfume having been used up years ago. They are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches or other damage. One retains its original label, which said it was Patchwork Cologne. The other one is missing its original sticker. The scent retained by this bottle is extremely faint -- I think it was either Charisma or Patchwork. (With their lids on you do not smell anything.) The plastic stoppers are in good condition, with no breakage. The sticker residue shown on the bottom of the candlestick without a
sticker has been removed. (I had thought it was permanent, but on a
second look I realized a good scrub would take it off -- so I did that.)
Contrary to what some people think, these were actually made by Anchor Hocking for Avon. My Avon book by Bud Hastin, says they were offered from 1975-1980. My More Royal Ruby book, by Phil Hopper, says they were made in 1983. OK, so sometime around then. LOL!
The candlestick bottles are 9 3/4 inches tall, 3 inches wide at the base, and 2 inches wide at the top. Both together weigh 1 pound 9.5 ounces before packing for shipping.
I have a pair of the matching short candlesticks in listing # 266866827064, and can combine shipping of both sets, if requested.
This will be shipped by my choice of either UPS Ground Saver or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place.
I am happy to answer your questions about this piece.
