Preowned in good condition.  Has paint splatters, scratches & scuffs but is very sturdy.  Marker spot on the underside of seat.

Other similiar chairs I have found on google are dated in the 1800's and were considered Louisiana Cajun or American Indian.  I do not know what type of leather is used for the seat.   This is a unique chair - I did not find another one just like it in my searches.
