Charming vintage 1930's/1940's L.E. Smith glass Scottie dog creamer, candy dish or salt pots! Beautiful clear glass pups have textured design to resemble fur and are quite weighted for their size! Figural Scottie dog were originally a premium give away inside Grape Nuts cereal boxes beginning in the late 1930's or early 1940's. A wonderful marketing win from coast to coast! Originally intended to be used as a creamer, the dog's tail is the handle and the open front is the spout. But, they can also be used as a candy or nut dish, a syrup pitcher, vase, soap dish, toothpick holder, or even as a spoon rest! So many ways to style these sweet treasures, would even be fun as bud vases for flower arrangements!

♥ We have 3 sets of 2 (see last 2 pics) of these fun pups available and we are happy to combine orders if you would love to have them all!!

Dogs are is in excellent condition! No chips, dings or pings! Perhaps tiny pre-loved light surface wear here and there from years of adding flair to Betty's kitchen cabinet, but nothing that distracts from these darling treasures! Please see enlarged pics for best description and details.
