The Diva Diamond Band is included at no additional cost. If you prefer your sleeve to not have a Diva Diamond Band, you'll need to wear a sling to keep it up. Write us immediately after ordering if you do not want the Diva Diamond Band on your armsleeve.

If you are only interested in the gauntlet without the sleeve, please write us with the Class (Compression Level), Side (left or right) and size (Small, Medium, Large) and we will create a listing for just a gauntlet for you to purchase.

ABOUT COMPRESSION LEVELS:

Compression garments are rated by the amount of pressure that they apply to the skin surface in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). Lower ratings provide enough pressure for comfort and some preventative properties. Higher ratings will also provide comfort but also provide more therapeutic levels of pressure needed to treat some more severe conditions.
  • 20 - 30 mmHg rated compression garments are considered light medical compression and are used by people who suffer from moderate swelling or for preventing blood clots after surgery. Garments with this rating should only be purchased on the advice of a physician or other health professional to avoid causing additional medical damage or injury.
  • 30 - 40 mmHg rated compression garments are considered medium medical compression stockings and are chosen if you have moderate to severe varicose veins during pregnancy or due to another condition, moderate edema, after a vein treatment like vein stripping, as a treatment for ulcers, and to combat diseases like lymphedema. Garments with this rating should only be purchased on the advice of a physician or other health professional to avoid causing additional medical damage or injury.

SIZING:

See sizing charts in the image area of this listing. Contact us if you have any questions. If you are having difficulty measuring, or are unsure of your correct compression level, please consult your physician.

HOW TO MEASURE:

To get the most accurate measurements, it is best to have a therapist, professional fitter, or friend measure your hand and arm for you. First, relax and bend your arm slightly at the elbow. Your arm should not be completely straight or fully bent. With each measurement, pull the tape around your arm to the point of gentle tension. For size precision, we recommend measuring using centimeters.

Index Finger: Let your fingers relax; measure the circumference of the knuckle on your index finger.

Palm: Measure the top of your palm, just under your knuckles.

Wrist: On your wrist, measure over the little bone on the outside.

Forearm: Measure the fullest part of your forearm.

Bicep: Measure the fullest part halfway between your elbow and your armpit. If you have extra skin here, gather it as much as possible. Hold the tape tighter here so that all your skin is encircled evenly.

Length: Measure your arm length from approximately 2 finger widths (~1" / 2.5 cm) below your armpit at the top of your arm to where your wrist meets your hand.

IMPORTANT:

All compression garments should be replaced after six months of normal wear. They start losing their effectiveness after that time, and will appear looser. You will start to lose the maximum benefits of your compression strength after this time. We recommend marking the date on the retail box they came in. You'll also have the sizing and compression class information for your next order.
