Vinyl plays with crackles and a few light-clicks; The first song on both sides has some skips due to a WARP (play-graded). Textured gate-fold cover looks good, a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back/inner-gate); tiny surface abrasions (front/back); discoloration spots on front. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read and shows mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few small divots. "SP" suffix on label. Initials written on on side of label. (Not a cut-out.)
Greatest Hits was Linda Ronstadt's first major compilation album. It included material from both her Capitol and Asylum Records projects, and went back to 1967 for The Stone Poneys' hit Different Drum. It remains the biggest-selling album of Ronstadt's entire career, being certified seven times Platinum (over 7 million copies sold), by the RIAA, in America alone and has sold over 20 million worldwide. It peaked at No. 6 on the main Billboard album chart and also reached No. 2 on Billboard's Country albums chart, where it remained for over three years.
