W4990 is a double chromed brass toilet roll holder.‎

Sometimes the research of a formai design in everyday used objects might give to functionality a secondary role.‎ Thanks to Arch.‎ Piet Billekens the project Plus has re-established the balance between concept and function, designing furnishing complements free from any style or trend.‎ The highest attention was also given to the materials, with a peculiar control to the manufacturing process granted by Colombo Design that shares the common concepts of total quality.‎

Piet Billekens born in Tilburg (Holland) in 1966. After the degree with honors got in 1989 at the Academy for Industrial Design if Eindhoven he moved to Milan where he started to work for the office of the architect Claudio Salocchi. In 1990 he started his long sole collaboration experience with Cesana, a manufacturer of shower enclosures, multi function shower enclosures, equipped bath and shower complements. In 2001 his wish to know new reality, leads him to build a design company called Foresee Design. He takes part as expert member in the bath field at the CEN working party to carry out the new European regulation about shower enclosures. He made also didactic activities as guest for the Politecnico in Milan and for La Sapienza University in Rome. 

The perfect synergy in the collaboration with Nobili Rubinetterie bought him to design products also for the other Company of Nobili group like Superinox Nobili, Gedy, CGS, Vipo and Apogeo. In the last years, in addition to the bathroom products design, he deals also with interior design for example the booths for Nobili and Colombo Design and commercial spaces like Fluid Cafe and Aquatech a shop in Milan. Prize and selection: selection for the competition ADI-ILPO 1990 regarding the new solutions in polyurethane for the Panco (Cesana) product. Selection for ADI-Design index 2001 with Logic Active, multifunctional shower cabin (Cesana). Selection for the ADI-Design index 2003 with Halfmoon, shower enclosure (Cesana). Selection for ADI-Design index 2003 with Billy, kitchen faucet (Nobili Rubinetterie). 

Design-Plus Prize at the ISH -Frankfurt 2003 with Halfmoon (Cesana). Compasso d'Oro selection with Halfmoon, shower enclosure (Cesana). Selection for ADI-Design index 2004 with Plus collection, bath and kitchen faucets (Nobili Rubinetterie) and bath accessories (Colombo Design). Comfort and Design Prize in 2004 (Mostra Convegno) with Plus collection, bath and kitchen faucets (Nobili Rubinetterie) and bath accessories (Colombo Design).
