This lot features three framed prints of train engines from the 1800s:

The General - a famous engine captured April 12, 1862, by Yankee Raiders

The Governor Stanford - Central Pacific’s No. 1 built by R. Norris & Sons of Philadelphia and shipped around the horn in 1863.

The Lonsdale - No picture exists of the “Q” Earlier Engines. It’s stated that No. 9 was probably built by the Taunton Locomotive works about 1856.

Each frame does have wear around the black edges, see all pictures.
