This is a FABULOUS RING MOUNTING that was made in the ANTIQUE ART DECO STYLE in the early c2000. It is made from 18K WHITE GOLD and it is stamped 18K. This mounting will hold a bezel-set center diamond that measures close to 6.5 mm or 1 carat in diamond weight. A one carat diamond for the center may be available, please inquire. The ring is detailed with 20 various shaped NATURAL RED RUBIES that are FRENCH CUTS of the finest quality weighing approx. 2.5 ctw. Sixteen of these rubies are CHANNEL-SET in a SUNBURST-LIKE PATTERN to frame the center stone and it may also be available with blue sapphires. There are an additional two rubies on each shoulder.

The ring is also detailed with 8 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS of G color, VS to SI1 clarity that weigh approx. .13 ctw. The head of the ring measures 14.3 mm across by 12.3 wide and it sits 4 mm high off the finger. The ring has a beautifully engraved pattern on the sides and on the lower shank. The ring is a size 6-3/4 and the total weight is a solid feeling 4.8 grams. This ring sits somewhat flush to the finger and is perfect for those who do not want a high sitting ring.
