Lanna, the land of millions of rice fields, was once an autonomous state with a metropolis in the north of what is now Thailand Chiang Mai in his heart. Until late in the 19th century. In the 19th century a unique culture was found here, with its own art, its own language and especially its own style. Only when that happened at that time Siam incorporated the Lanna state, became the current one Thailand with its diverse culture and a diverse population.

For a particularly good stand, this delicately carved work of art was positioned on a heavy base made of old teak using three metal struts.

This teak wood sculpture is not yet (!) an antique (it starts at 100 years old), but at 50-60 years old we are already very close to it and it is at least "vintage".

Small dents, discoloration, cracks or scratches are not uncommon with these natural items. Wood is a living material, has grown naturally and can be reworked accordingly. All items are handmade, so there are small errors in the item, uneven surfaces, etc. normal deviations.

Every piece is unique

Wood is alive, and you can see it. Each item has its own color spectrum, hard or soft color changes, knotholes, cracks, notches or similar. These small differences make each individual item unique and create a natural, original atmosphere. Deviations from the specified dimensions are possible. These deviations do not constitute a reason for a complaint. The shape of the individual items (especially Root Wood ) can also vary greatly, please take this into account when ordering.

Please note that wood is a living material. Especially in the cold season, we recommend that you let the piece of furniture acclimatise for a few days in a slightly warmed room (e.g. bedroom) before setting it up at your destination. This will prevent cracks in the wood. Particularly dry air (e.g. in rooms heated by fireplaces) can also lead to cracks in the wood. The optimal room humidity for solid wood is between 60 and 70%. Cracks that appear in winter usually close almost completely again over spring and summer.

For shipping outside of the EU we will use DHL international parcel service to minimize your waiting time. Please understand that also DHL can sometimes take a little bit longer than expected. We always ship large and particularly heavy items on pallets through the DB Schenker shipping company.
Of course, you can arrange a desired delivery date with the shipping company.
