Hung Sin-Nui 紅線女 (25 December 1924 – 8 December 2013) was a national treasure level Cantonese opera master and movie actress in China and Hong Kong. She was famous for her unique sweet, crisp, smooth and coquettish "Hung tone" 紅腔 of singing which incorporated the techniques of Beijing Opera, Kunqu, and Western opera singing method.
Fong Yim Fun 芳艷芬 (1928- ) was a famous Hong Kong Cantonese opera artist in the 1940s and 1950s, also known as the "Queen of Cantonese Opera".
