About The Record:

Byron Janis, who has proved for many years, despite his chronological youth, that he can play just about anything authentically as well as beautifully, has become closely identified with the concertos of Rachmaninoff. He has performed them with the major orchestras of the United States and Europe, and his interpretations have the dynamic and expressive range which richly illumines the music's dramatic and emotional elements.
