Good candidate for full restoration, VINTAGE Sony Trinitron 9" color TV model KV-9000CU from the circa 1972. Features US standard VHF-UHF tuner, two telescopic antennas, and an earphone jack. Tested with VCR and the picture is clear and colors vibrant; green (and therefore yellow) seems a little 'off'; cannot test or adjust purity, convergence, etc. because our vintage color bar generator is old and in need of restoration as you can see by picture #3.

The unit was received with vertical deflection collapse; all polarized caps in both the vertical and horizontal sweep boards including those within shielded compartments, yoke board and rear control board were upgraded. E-caps remaining that should be changed are power filter throughout and on a small board behind the rear control board-there may be others. Sample-tested non-polarized cans on both V & H boards, and they tested in-spec. Control pots deoxed and cabinet detailed.
