Vintage Game Night Bundle: Yahtzee, Mastermind, Waterworks, & Pick-Up Sticks

Here is one of my favorite recent estate sale finds... When I first spied this Yahtzee box I thought it was just going to be a standard old game but when I opened it up I was surprised to find it stuffed with not only a pristine Yahtzee, but also three more family game night favorites, all in excellent condition! Indeed, these are four of my family's all-time favorite tabletop games and I give props to the family who combined them for thrifty storage and kept them is such great condition for the last 40 years. Bundle Includes:

1) 1982 Yahtzee in great shape with clean scoresheets, dice & cup, chips, and instructions.  Box is in fine condition; this game has been loved.

2) One of my favorites: Waterworks by Parker Bros, circa 1970's.  A game that remotely resembles Dominoes, but is played with cards which you try to connect in order to build a working plumbing system.  This game includes one of the "longest" instruction manual you'll ever find (see the photos).

3) Travel-Size Mastermind, circa 1972 version.  Original four channel layout.  Includes instructions written in 10 languages!

4) Throwback Steampunk Pick-Up Sticks!  Lovely very old wooden (bamboo?) sticks with a variety of color bands for multiple players.  Probably useful for martini skewers too.

You can't top this get-up for variety!

TOYS & GAMES

For children of all ages these two things seem synonymous with Christmas, Birthdays, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Easter, Hanukah, Diwali, Grandparents Arriving for a Visit, Father Returning From a Business Trip, Chinese New Year, Eid al-Fitr, Monito Monita, Advent, and so on and so forth.... Interestingly, most of the shoppers who visit this section are adults looking to find something from their own childhood memory: That certain Tonka truck, or that particular Cootie game, or that special Raggedy Ann or Andy, or even their own personal "Rosebud" (if you know what I mean).... Listings are always changing here as things come and go, so check back occasionally; you might just find what you have forgotten.
