The Place: Washington Station, Massachusetts
The Plot: After eating a plate of snails at the French restaurant L'Escargot, industrialist Roger Ellington is dead -- Murdered in the prim of his sordid life. Who poisoned Ellington's plate?
The Cast:
Gastonne Schmidt: Owner and head chef of L'Escargot.
Steve Watson: Steve was well liked and was Roger's business partner in
many deals. He was president of the local Chamber of Commerce. He dined
with Roger and Gastonne that evening.
Derrick Ellington: the low life half brother. He had been away in the
Merchant Marines for ten years, returning to town a year ago.
Katie LaFemme: Local party girl with the proverbial heart of gold.
Major Deegan: A Soldier of fortune and lifetime resident of Washington Station.
Cybil Admunson: An insufferable social climber. Cybil was not liked by many.
Arnold Green: The hapless waiter.. Green was not a born waiter, and was publicly humiliated by
Roger on several occasions.
