This helps to increase stability over rough terrain as well as increase steering clearance to allow a wider selection of tire options.

Equipped with 13T(Front) & 16T(Rear) Worm Gear Set. Compared with original SCX24 16T overdrive 13T gears can increase speed. OD in front helps a lot in slow crawling and helps a bit with turning the car. It pulls itself up instead of flipping over. Also have a stronger drag break effect goind downhill. For a light trail runner light crawler there is no need for this but if you go serious on rocks then it is beneficial.
